01What Happens During A Session?

During sessions our halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical grade salt into a fine dust that is dispersed into the room for you to inhale. The salt rooms are designed for relaxation so you will want to sit back in our zero gravity chairs or recliners and breathe deeply. The doors to the salt room will close and remain closed during the session for the optimum guest experience and also to make sure salt particles do not leave the room. We ask that you arrive a few minutes early as sessions will be started promptly on the hour or on the half hour. You don’t want to interrupt another guest’s time and relaxation.

You will want to wear comfortable clothing to your salt session. Please note that darker-colored clothing may show salt, but it can easily be brushed off and will not harm your clothing. While we have blankets for sessions, some people prefer to bring their own blanket as the room does get cool.

Guests have the option of either wearing booties over their shoes (provided by us) or bringing clean white socks to wear. Due to the purity of the salt, shoes cannot be worn in the room without booties on.

Our salt rooms can accommodate up to four people at once. So each session can have anywhere from one to four people at a time.

Please contact us to book the salt room for a private event.

Yes, it is completely safe and all natural to have salt therapy while pregnant. We do recommend always consulting with your physician prior to any new treatment. Many pregnant women find relief with respiratory or skin issues while pregnant and unable to take prescription medications. Salt therapy can also help boost the immune system.

Salt sessions last 45 minutes and is in a room that is surrounded with sea salt on the walls and covering the ground. During a session it is best to close your eyes and take deep cleansing breaths. Giant Himalayan salt lamps throughout the rooms provide negative ions that enhance the salt therapy experience.

For the optimum relaxation experience, we recommend leaving your phones in a provided locker. Salt is corrosive and can ruin your device (including smart watches), yet if you choose to bring one into the room, we will provide a plastic bag for use.

Yes, salt therapy is completely safe for children. Our children’s salt therapy room is made for fun salt play time with beach toys.
